Distinguish subject pronouns, object pronouns, possessive adjectives and possessive pronouns.
Form and rules
Subject pronouns come before verbs: I, you, he, she, it, we, they.
Object pronouns come after verbs or prepositions: me, you, him, her, it, us, them.
Possessive adjectives come before nouns: my, your, his, her, its, our, their.
Possessive pronouns replace a noun: mine, yours, his, hers, ours, theirs.
Its is possessive; it's means it is or it has.

Common mistakes
After the verb called, use an object pronoun.
Before the noun car, use a possessive adjective.
