How it works
Form it with am/is/are + going to + base verb.
Use it for an intention or plan decided before the moment of speaking: I'm going to study tonight.
Use it for a prediction based on present evidence: Look at those clouds. It's going to rain.
Make negatives with am not/isn't/aren't going to + base verb.
Make questions by moving am/is/are before the subject: Are you going to travel?
